Our Programs
We offer educational daycare for children aged 0-12. We educate through connection, active play, positive role modeling, and structured activities in STEM, art, literacy and mindfulness.
At Tiny Timbers Children’s Academy we believe in fostering an environment where children are viewed as competent, capable, and curious individuals. Our approach to early childhood education is rooted in the principles of Emergent curriculum, recognizing that learning emerges naturally when children are engaged in meaningful and authentic experiences. Children are encouraged to experiment and explore their environment. Teachers facilitate learning by creating learning experiences based on children’s interests and they provide challenges and activities that foster discovery. We allow flexibility in adapting plans to suit each class’s unique developmental levels and interests.
Infant/Toddler
Our Infant Toddler program is a full day program that focuses on music and movement, story time, sensory play and active play. We value the development of social and independence skills for this age group. This is our most flexible program in which we try to follow your routine from home as closely as possible. We want your little one to be comfortable with us since it is often their first time away from home.
3-5 Full Day Care
Our Full Day 3-5 year old program engages these active little ones in both play based and educational activities. This curriculum teaches cognitive, motor, emotional regulation and social skills through fun activities and exciting weekly themes. We also focus on developing their independence and complete workbooks designed for their developmental age as we start to prepare for Kindergarten!
Junior Kindergarten
Junior Kindergarten is a 9 am-2 pm program that gets your little one ready for the adjustment to elementary school. It runs from September to June and follows the same closure schedule as Langley Meadows Elementary. This Program incorporates the same curriculum as the 3-5 Full Day program with the main difference being the shorter time frame. We want to facilitate a strong foundation for learning in a safe and nurturing environment.
Out of School Care
Our Out of School Care Program services children attending Langley Meadows Elementary. We offer morning and afternoon care with pick up and drop off by a short supervised walk. Teachers will be available to assist with homework if necessary and will implement a fun and educational curriculum.
